Radioactive wife

So, Karen's been on radiation for about four weeks now and she has a couple more weeks to go. She was being treated for the tumor that had been there for a while pinching the nerve that runs through her right arm, causing numbness and pain. At the time of her last PET scan, which was about a week ago, that tumor had all but disappeared, but there were two other areas that lit up and so they're going to treat the one that's more threatening (because it's pushing against her spine) and then she should be able to start another study up in Ohio.

So far the effects of the radiation seem to be minimal.

Perhaps some of the side effects will wear off with time.
