So, Karen finally started her treatment this last Thursday. There's a pill that she needs to take three times a week and she has to go in every fourth week to have a 5-day infusion.
We appreciate everyone that has helped to cover the extra travel and lodging costs. We couldn't have done it without you. Fortunately, she won't have to go down to Texas as often as she has been going, and most of the times she goes she'll only need to stay for the day, so our travel and lodging costs will be greatly reduced. But we do appreciate everyone helping us in a tight situation.
